Cars

If you know me at all you probably know I like cars, I like cars a lot. There are all kinds of cars for all kinds of people. If you like track cars built for all around great performance cars you might like European hyper cars such as the Lamborgini Hurácan or the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. If you are more of a loud and proud american you might like cars like the Corvette Z06 or the Dodge Demon. American built cars tend be the best at drag racing. So much so that the Dodge Demon has the fastest quarter-mile time of any production car ever. Brand new off the lot this car does wheelies. The legendary Corvette is the exception this car is made by the American manufacturer Chevy. This car was designed to compete with hyper cars such as Lamborghinis and Ferraris and be about one third of the cost. The Corvette absolutely gives hyper cars a run for their money so it is beautiful hybrid between American Muscle and European hyper cars. If you don't car what kind of car you drive as long as it gets you from point A to point B there is a car for you too. These average Joe cars are inexpensive and get maximum fuel efficiency. Some examples are the Toyota Corolla and the Nissan Altima. These cars are cheap enough for the average person to afford and are generally pretty reliable.

Now I will go into much greater detail of each one of them cars/types of cars. Before we do any of that you need to understand the basics of engines. When I say V8 that means the engine is shaped like a V with 4 cylinders on each side for a total of 8 cylinders. Another type of engine is an inline engine which is exactly what it sounds like the number of cylinders in a line. This type of engine is used with engines with less cylinders because it is really long. One of the factors that determines how fast an engine can make a car go is the number of cylinders the more cylinders the faster. Another factor is how big the cylinders are the bigger the explosion and engine can create the more energy it makes the faster the car can go. Also the faster and engine can get air in and out the faster it will be, so the more air and the faster the faster the engine can go. So superchargers and turbochargers just make air get into the engine faster. Now you are ready to learn about engines. Traditionally the European hyper cars have V10's or V12's, for instance the Lamborghini Hurácan has a V10, but its competitor the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta has a V12. More recently however hyper cars have moved away from V10's and V12's due to the horrible gas mileage. They now use supercharged/turbocharged V8's. Now in my opinion nothing is better than good old American mad V8 just about every American made muscle car has one. The Corvette has a supercharged V8 and the Dodge Demon also has supercharged V8. The average cars I mentioned early can vary drastically form inline 4's to standard V8's There you go an extremely basic summary of the types of cars and engines in 15 minutes.
